Who are we?

New World Home Education came into being in 2022. Before that, we were just a small group of home educatoring friends who got together to do various educational and social trips as a group. In the spring of 2022 we thought it would be nice for the children to do some of their lessons together. Fast forward to 2025 and a handful of lessons has turned into a full educational curriculum, and we have grown in size by over 500%

Who educate the children?

For the most part, we are all families who took the decision to home educate. So the education is done by the parents. We are organised into various classes and parents will take turns in leading a class. Among our number are some who are ex-school teachers, and so we all benefit from their experience in how to prepare for and conduct an effective lesson.

In more recent times, we have been joined by a couple of professional tutors who freely give of their time to educate our children, even though they do not have children in the co-op themselves. We are very grateful to them for the time and hard work they offer!
